Are those small laptop ok?

You are definitely right. This Eee PC is just sort of entertainment version. The biggest drawback of it is so small hard disk. It can't meet the great requirement for IT people doing software developing or even for us playing many video games. The best choice will be go travelling with those small laptops. I suppose that is what they are really designed for. Right?

itz only basic system itz cpus are atom processors so they don't have huge resources to run huge appilications like PS,MF or other multimedia appilications.Thus they are intended for office appilications like word,powerpoint and internet needs

Well, I think these laptops are made for students who can't afford those other expensive laptops and for employees who have tight budgets. Definitely they can run softwares, I've seen one with my co-worker, it works perfectly fine, but the only problem is, it has not so much storage for files, installers and downloads, but great for internet, video, chatting, email and such. These are the important things a person need in a computer. I, myself prefer the small ones (not too small though) cause it's just portable and handy, light that you can carry it wherever and whenever. =)

i guess they are depending on their brand and their specs..so you could research about it and before buying you must knows it specifications..

remember back then when computers bigger back then which took an entire room? Eventually, computers became smaller and smaller so, I think it is possible. I think the small laptop limit is the ability to run games like crysis or run graphically intense websites like gametrailers.

You CAN run Adobe Photoshop, Flash or Dreamweaver on EeePC, but not very smoothly, and their tiny screen will make your eyes hurt. EeePC is only suitable for web browsing, chatting and simple tasks like Word processing or compose an email.
