How can you know if he/she is a marriage material?

How can you know if the person is a husband/wife material? What are the things to consider? What are the qualities he/she must have? Before you marry a person, I guess he/she should pass the qualities that we are looking for. What do you think are those things? Or what are the hints for him/her to be considered as marriage material?

Hello markmoney! If you were to ask me, I would know if the guy is marriage material or not by his attitude. I look for a man who is responsible enough to handle me and our family. A guy who is a one - woman - man and who is not a playboy. A marriage material man for me too is the one who has palabra de honor or a man who is true to his words.

Oh yes, those you said are all true. Having that qualities can make us tell that the person is really a marriage material. It's good for you that you clearly know what a guy must have. I know you would have a good choice. Thanks for your response.

I don't wanna sound rude here for the first response but i just wanna say this. how do you know that you are.
what i'm saying is, we always try to look for someone who would fit to something that we want them to be, but when we found that one, how do we know hat they feel the same way about us?
