Bush insisted, at the recent press conference, that terrorism remain the priority. Will Obama think and do the same way? And for the ordinary people, too?

Not only for Bush, but every nation should have economy as the top priority. Poor economy, unemployment, widening gap between the rich and the poor, lesser opportunity to improve one’ condition…all these contribute to unrest in society and push disoriented youth towards terrorism. Terrorism as the world knows it, is not the only form of expressing pent up anger. Any kind of unrest can unsettle society and have spill-over affects on other nations. Economy should be given the priority.

Bush's bogus "war on terror" is his excuse for the economy crashing and burning at his feet. There will always be terror and there will always be terrorists; unfortunately Bush's way of dealing with it has made it worse instead of better and has, in fact, bred more terrorists than ever before. I think Obama will have the ability and the people around him to do more than one thing at a time. I think he'll do everything he can to keep us safe while working hard at rebuilding our economy at the same time. Annie

They are both very important issues all over the world. But so far I think the economy is much more important as the global economy is getting worse. It has many negative effect on many families and this is very upset. I love China

Nothing is black and white....why not think outside the box and have two priorities...Its not all or nothing....I bet Obama is smart enough to be able to work on both problems without. I know bush insisted he is is not stupid but dont we know differently...if you have ears or eyes to read you know its true. again its not one or the other....
