what's your favourite soup?

hi all!
soup is one of the most popular dishes around the world. for most of us, soups are "soul food" that nourish both the body and soul. and of course, since mankind has evolved into various cultures, each and every society has its versions of soups. there are even hearty soups, clear appetizer soups and dessert soups.
in my case, since i live in the philippines with a chinese ancestry, i like filipino and chinese soups, such as "misua", "la paz batchoy", egg drop soup, cream of asparagus and cream of mushroom.
in your case, what's your favourite soup?

I would eat all kinds of soup. I don't care if it's meat-based or vegetable-based. Soup is good for you. Cheers!!

It's hard to say which is my favorite soup, but there are some I like. for instance, vege soup, chicken soup, muffin soup, dog meat soup, which is a Korean dish with beancurb in it, mushroom soup is terrific too.
In China, people in the southern area have soup every meal. they make soup for hours or even longer hours. in fact, it is a good quality of a wife to cook soup for husband.

I'm a big soup fan, but French onion soup has to be my favourite,mmm, would love some now come to think of it, served with thick bread and cheese, mmm.
Interested to know what egg drop soup consists of..Would you lke to share?
