Has anyone here tried to go on the Medifast regimen? Did it help you to learn to improve your health? Did you like the food and the plan? Did you have any reactions or problems with any of the products? I am considering this plan to lose some weight. I am kind of skeptical about it. I'm not sure about dairy, or soy products in their food, Do you know much about it? I seem to be in need of reassurance to get this started. Please help me if you know anything at all about this product. Thanks and have a nice day..

I gave it a try about 5 years ago. It started to work for me, but like everything else I had tried, it stopped. But for me it was because I always had a heck of a time sticking to an exercise program because of my back. Their shakes taste really good, as well as their soups and some of their protein bars (especially the Chocolate Peanut Butter...Yummmmmm). Their oatmeal is my favorite. I will tell you that they recommend using water for their shakes, but I prefer to use fat free milk. It tastes way better with the milk for sure. And they will probably put you on some type of appetite suppressant, so if you have anything like high blood pressure or any other problems, let them know right away. They put me on Fastin, and it was like I was on speed or something. I was amped up all day. But they will work with you on all of that. Good luck if you decide to do the program hon.

Hi Katlady, Thanks for the advice on Medifast. I really appreciate your views on the topic. I have three weeks off from work coming up and I think I will get it started then. I can concentrate on the meals and the exercises, and give it a whole hearted try. At least then after going back to work, I will have an idea of what to do and when to continue the program if it should work for me. Again thanks for the tips. Have a great day my friend..

I have been curious about Medifast. I saw what it did for Genie Francis. I think she played Laura on General Hospital. I had seen her before, and then I saw her when she was doing her campaign with Medifast. It looked like it worked for her. But I wonder how hard it is to keep if off once she lost it.

Hi Ambie, Genie Francis does look good, and like you I'm wondering how hard it is to keep it off. I'm afraid that it will be like other diets. You lose a lot, then gain back twice as much. I'm going to be off work for three weeks, so I'm going to start it then. That way I can give it my whole attention and concentrate on what I am doing. That way I can give it a real try.

HI Grandmaof2, Nice to see you too! I've been extremely busy with work and lots of extracirrular activities, so not here much. I do pop in now and then. I'm researching the Medifast diet. My husband can not do it because he is on coumadin. There is vitamin K in the products. I was willing to try it to see if it would help me. I'm no spring chicken anymore. LOL I need all the help that I can get. Thanks for stopping by, and have a nice day..
