potato chips or corn chips?

hi all!
snacking is a part of daily human life. it helps boost our energy a bit when we need to. unfortunately, some snacks are high in calories and harmful chemicals, but i think snacking still helps nourish the body (a bit) and the mind when it is done in moderation.
enough with the silly introduction. hehehe. chips are one example of such snacks. their size, packaging and ease (in terms of eating) make them a popular and easy-to-carry snack wherever you go.
and since each of us has different preferences, snack companies provide a lot of snack chips for us to choose.
some of the most common chips are potato chips and corn chips.
if i were to ask you, which would you prefer? potato chips or corn chips?
in my case, i think i'd go with corn chips. potato chips tend to feel a bit cloying sometimes. but corn chips does not make me feel that way.
how about in your case?

I prefer potato chips.I like the taste more.most of my favorite chips are of the potato chip variety.I do eat corn chips, but it's not really my favorite.

I prefer potato chips, but I enjoy corn chips once in a while too. I really like the taste of potatoes, especially when compared to corn. Corn chips are a good change-up though. Unfortunately most corn chips sold in my area have trans fat.

I'm not a fan of junk food as it was banned from our school when I was in gradeschool. However, I AM only human so I give in to my cravings from time to time. I just love Frito Lays potato chips with sour cream dip. I also love Doritos corn chips. These are the only two "junk" food I eat. I love it with soda and when I eat this, I usually pig out. LOL!

I have tasted both the chips and i feel better with the potato chips since they are the better ones as far as i'm concerned and feel potato chips always taste better than the corn chips as the corn chips are always been salty and sour but with the type of potato chips that we get over here in India i'm sure that you will also be opting only for the potato chips and not for the corn chips and we have more flavours than anyother country in the world...

Hi there Mazdakid!
I like snacking and my son and me have this what we call "indoor picnic" when we would buy lots of snacks, rent out movies and eat our snacks while watching movies. We usually buy chips, cookies, juice and chocolates.
About chips, I like potato chips better especially when they are really thin. I think the flavoring really gets into the chips.

Both varieties are good. I like some corn chips, like Doritos and Fritos, and some potato chips, like Lays. My favorite kind of potato chip flavors are sour cream and onion, or salt and vinegar. They just have their own unique flavor, and don't taste like the normal potato chip.
And Doritos have so many flavors, they're really good to snack on too.
