So, I used to sell my old books online but lately it had slowed down. I used half.com to sell. Well I just started using Amazon and it the last 5 days I have made $120 dollars. sixty dollars was from text books but the rest were books that I just had laying around the house! You would be amazed at what people buy. So, the other day I went to a local peddlers mall where they sell books dirt cheap. I had my b/f at home finding how much the books were selling for on amazon and i bought the ones we could profit from! Its genius :) I am sure people do this all the time and I can't believe it took me so long to figure it out! I just thought I would share this idea for how to make money on the internet. I have given up the idea of making money through actual websites as I have had zero luck since trainn. Hope this helps someone!

This is a Great Idea and a sure fire way to make money. I too have listed my books on Amazon. Unfortunately when they expired I did not re list due to my hectic schedule. The technique that you use to acquire more books is that of a genius. Very good idea and Best to you both!. I am not familiar with half.com I can understand as to why you would want to choose to give up on the idea of making money through actual websites when you can sell books online. Books may be one of the hottest moving products online. It may seem to you to have taken a while to figure it out but now you know and continue to profit from this niche market. How do you find the cost of postage for text books and books in general? Thank you for your post. This gives me inspiration to re-list my books on Amazon. Why you are at it, you can always check out http://www.mturk.com which is an opportunity to perform intelligence tasks and earn from it. MTurk, from what I understand is part of Amazon. Use the same log in information that you do for your original Amazon account. Best to you! Success to All.

Hi :) Postage isn't too bad though it is much worse than it used to be :) All of my books shipped for less than $4. Most were a little over $2 though but some of the heavier ones were closer to $4. Also I always ship media mail which is cheapest unless other wise specified! But def. you can make some money you should post them on there and profit :) GOODLUCK!!!

Hey, That is a really great idea. I have actually never heard of anyone to do this until you said it. My parents have hundreds of books in the shelf that haven't been touched in years. Thanks for the idea, since I also haven't been successful online with money.

Def. do it :) it works and look at it because it may say you can only sell the book for $2. But with shipping and stuff added sometimes it will end up being $4 that you make if you ship for $2 then you made $2. It doesn't seem like alot but if you do that quite a few times it adds up! I have made $400 the last week selling text books books and dvd's that I have a habit of only watching once! Put it all up there. Clean up your house and make some money! Let me know how it goes for you and goodluck!

Selling books, sounds feasible. It is a pity that I have sold my college books when I left the college.
