Our neighborhood has 2 of them and although we normally go to BEST BUY it still will be noticeable to me because we pass it by at least once or twice a week. When were shopping for electronics we always go to Best Buy and then Circuit City to compare prices. But man, what about all the people left: 30,000 employees out of a job TODAY! George Whalin, president and CEO of Retail Management Consultants said, "This is very significant. It shows you how bad things are for the the retail industry," This company made massive mistakes," he said, citing a decision to get rid of sales people and other mismanagement Ouch. Im sure many retailers lost sight of the value of their employees and just immediately started cutting people. Will this affect your day to day routine? Will you buy somewhere else?
