With what happened to the airplane that crash in the Hudson River, a lot of news articles now is about how safe is plane travel. I believe it is as safe or dangerous as the others. If it is your time to go, then it doesn't matter whether you are riding an airplane or a boat or whatever. A piece of trivia: I've come across an article that stated that the safest seat to be is at the back. I am not sure if that is true though.
