How horrible to witness. I hope they are ok. I would be having night mares from witnessing such a thing. I am a Nurse and would feel the need to stop.

you are right a lot of people at an accident scene tends to muck things up and so the best thing to do is walk away sometimes.

It is really sad. However, some drivers do not drive their vehicle, as they should and they are always in a hurry to over-take others, specially bikers are always found in a hurry. Even if the overtake you, you will find them waiting at the next Red Light, they do not reach earlier than you. Bikers need to be disciplined with some heavy penalties to avoid this kind of accidents.

many of the accidents are caused by two-wheelers.nowadays,bribe plays an important role(it include licence also)

You mean to say undeserving drivers, get the licences through paying bribes and they become hazardous on the roads.

Hello my friend riyasam ji, It is really very sad that an accident you had witnessed and it is haunting in your mind, so try and forget, else it will trouble you. It is day to day's basis , everywhere it is happening and drivers seldom take a note of taht, tehy only worry about that, they should not be involved as a witness, so that tehy do not have to run around court and Poluce-stations. but, i see your concern very much, where a law abiding citizen. may god bless you and have a graet time.

Hello my friend riyasam Ji, It is always better to take sufficient trouble avoiding precautions, and I am sure, your hubby would care for your sincere advise and be positive. My hubby too drives fast (I am talking about two wheelers , and not about 4 wheels), he gets tempted, but drives safely. may god bless you and have a great time.

Sorry that you had to see this, and hope the outcome was not too bad. I have seen a couple of bad accidents happen in my time. Just not sure how bad some of them were though as I chose not to stick around. But I do remember being at a KFC when I was growing up, and watching a collision in the middle of the intersection once, and then also watched a Truck flip on it's top in the ice once. Personally these are enough for me Thanks.

There was a train accident I had witnessed some years back that haunted me so much that I was not able to go to work for a few days. The fact that the boy was very young made me feel worse.

Watching a train accident is indeed very painful. And more so for me because my husband has expired in a train accident. I myself avoid getting into crowded trains. And with the population increasing in our city I wonder what the situation will be five years from now.

I hope both of them are fine and well. I do agree with you that accidents is not something that we could easily forget most especially if such is very gruesome. I have worked in a rescue unit for about 13 years as a paramedic. Despite being trained on how to respond to different sorts of emergencies, the site of people getting hurt or killed still lingers on my mind.

Yes, that is what I always do. I also pray that everytime I respond to emergencies nobody is seriously hurt. But sometimes things does not go that way. So as you have said, lets just hope for the best. I am no longer working with the rescue unit, now I trained people on how to provide first aid. This is more fulfilling.

I also had witnessed a car accident many years ago when I was still in high school. We were riding a bus when we happened to passed by in a road where two cars were colliding each other and 3 of the passengers got killed; blood were flooding all over the street. That scene had been haunting me often when I first saw it then. it's gruesome too.

These types of things do stick with you even after many years. I guess if you deal with it all the time like resue people it doesn't bother you so much. I know for me I can still picture such things I saw years ago, but they don't hold any emotion for me anymore. I guess just time will heal. Hang in there.

Hi ya riyasam Oh that is awful. Whenever I see an accident I try not to look but I am only human and sometimes my curiosity gets the better of me but. So far I haven't seen anything particularly horrible. When we are driving in the car I try to tell my sons not to look just incase they see something that they might have nightmares from it later and as I am driving I don't look either.

I haven't witness an accident but I have ran up on some and wondered what the outcome was. The way I would find out is to read the newspaper the next day and see if I can find something about the incident. Most of the time I do. Can you check your local news and see if you can find out anything?

That was very long time ago when I was still living with my parents. We were about to visit my grandparents when on our way there, we saw lots of people and blood along the road lanes and there was this small passenger jeep and a huge bus along side, both were torn and destroyed on the front. That was really so bloody and I could still remember, that accident took 9 lives that very moment.

I never witnessed such a horrible site riya, just thinking and picturing the scenario in mind is such as horrific site. I could vomit everytime I saw few drops of blood, much more if I would be able to see blood all over and much came from an accident, I might collapse right there and then possibly. I pity the the victim so much. Hope you would feel fine, sooner.
