Netbooks (mini laptops). Opinions?

I have had an Acer Aspire One netbook for a few weeks, and for the most part, I like it, but a few things I don't like are:
small touchpad
camera is terrible
overheats
battery only lasts like 90 minutes
screen isn't sharp
no bluetooth
Anybody relate to my experience, or have another netbook they'd like to comment on and how it compares?

I just bought one last week because it's all that I could afford and I wanted and needed to get online.Yes the screen is small,mine doesn't have a camera and the is not a CD Rom and the battery does not last long.But,it does the trick so I am happy with it till I can afford to buy a laptop again.

Haha. yeah, they are cute.
The Aspire One is great in the performance department. I run games and all kind of stuff on it, and it takes it like a real trooper. The only thing that REALLY irritates me is how hot it gets after just an hour or so. Acer said it was normal... =/

Hi, I find this topic very interesting because planning now to buy a mini laptop for my wife as a gift. I'm surprised and quite curios by your comment and find it very ineteresting ti dig into before making my final decision of purchasing such item.

Hi,
That seems wierd. I work within an IT sales company which we sell lots of netbooks which the Acer Aspire One is just one of the ones that we sell. They have the lowest return rate out of all of them. Which version are you running the linux or the windows based one? If you are having issues with the drivers then I would recommend to restore the machine back to when it was first purchased.
My partner has an Advent 4211c which is very similar to the MSI Wind and that works perfectly. It has wireless and bluetooth. The camera is very good. If she is just using it for web browsing then the battery lasts almost 2 hours.
In regards to your Acer overheating then double check that the air can pass underneath as my partner had an issue with hers. Once I looked on how it was on her lap I noticed that the airvents on the bottom was covered, she purchased a laptop riser that had a fan in the middle and there is no issues with the overheating.
