Trapped is a movie done by Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend and Kevin Bacon. I love this movie but sadly I found it very predictable. It’s a suspense movie about kidnapping and being trapped on that kind of situation, maybe that’s why it was titled Trapped. It’s a very polished film and violence is minimal compared to some other kidnapping films that I’ve watched. However there are mature scenes so it might not be good for some kids. Charlize plays a young housewife to Stuart Townsend who plays as a famous anaesthician. Kevin Bacon kidnapped their daughter who was played by the girl who played in Tom Cruise’s War of the Worlds who was Dakota Fanning. He was a serial kidnapper but this time it was because of revenge to Stuart Townsend. It was exciting at first but the ending for me became predictable because the villain showed affection to the child. I predicted that they won’t be able to pull the kidnapping through in the end so I was not surprised at all. This was a good movie topic because it tackles an issue of not going to the police if you are trapped in a kidnapping. Sometimes being rich is not good at all.

Who cares if it's predictable?! It's still two hours of Stuart Townsend's gorgeous self. If they cast him in another of those stupid "_____ Movie" movies, I might be persuaded to watch...

I agree with you girl. I didn't notice that at first then I realized Stuart Townsend has this certain charisma and sexiness in him. I first saw him on that vampire film that I already forgot the title. But I didn't like his looks that much on The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Good movie. That reminds me I have to get my copy back. My son borrowed it and I haven't seen it since.

I did see that movie. It is true that it is somewhat predictable. However, I still enjoyed it. It certainly had it's moments, moments that were good. It is perhaps not on my list of favorite movies, but certainly on my list of movies that I enjoyed.
