Can AVG and AVIRA work together? Are they friends?

I both installed anti-viruses AVG and AVIRA on my PC. At first I thought it can really work together but later on I noticed that they are competing. While AVG is scanning, when AVG found a virus, AVIRA will interrupt and portrays like he(using personification) is the one who found the virus first which is not because AVG is really the one who found it. Then after the AVG scanning is finished, he will not found any viruses because AVIRA already claimed them as his detections. But try to uninstall AVIRA and AVG will found a virus. Well, this is what I noticed. Do you think I'm right? Haha. So do you think AVG and AVIRA can work together?

You cannot to use two antivirus in one computer, if your AVG and AVIRA running together and what should happen. AVG will intterupt AVIRA, and AVIRA will intterupt AVG. If it find a virus, then might some of your data will be loss. You must select it AVG or AVIRA do you want to use. Both of them not good for you, i suggest you to install Kaspersky it will protect all of your data from virus.

I think it is part of the business strategy not to allow ones product (anti-virus) to be installed when anther anti-virus has been installed already. In fact many products have this feature, and tells you to uninstall the other anti-virus if you intend to use their product. Also, I think avira is better than nod32.

hi markmoney its not a good idea to install two antiviruses in your computer both AVG and AVIRA is not a good antiviruses, normally when two antiviruses installed in computer then it will not work properly, all the resources are utilized only by these antiviruses so install one good antivirus I suggest you to install kaspersky which will protect you from all viruses
