I'm sure a lot of us have heard phrases that our parents used excessively to a point where we were sick of it. Were there any things specifically that your parents said often while you were/are a child? If you're a parent at the moment, are there any sayings that you find yourself constantly telling your children?

Hehe, I've heard the first and third expressions over and over again, but I think the second one is crossing the line. It's amusing how I tend to use them these days too.

Oh, I remember my parents keep telling me to tidy my room. I also remember my parents telling us that we, siblings, should not fight with each other. They tell us that we must love one another because we will not live together in one roof forever because there will come a time wherein we will each have a family of our own. Now that we have families of our own, we seldom see each other. O truly miss my siblings. Now, as a mother, I also say the same thing to my kids. It is really true that we must make the most of our times being with each other. Love and cherish your family, they are your wonderful treasure more than anything in this world.
