What if you get more change when going shopping?

Hi readers,today,i went to shop buying some food,it cost me $4.5,i give the saleswoman $20,and then the saleswoman said,"here is ur change",with $16.5 holding toward me. after a while,i recognized that she give me the wrong change,one dollar more,i fought with my thought and decided wheather i should give it back. finally,i gave it back to the saleswoman. have you ever been given more change when u were going shopping? what will you do when the things happen?

if u get more change i will return to the sales man/woman , if i see there in shop if the change is more. if i didn;t see there in the shop , i can;t do anything , and will go to the home.

Honesty is still the best policy.. This dilema had actually happened to me many times in the many times when cash is involved! The struggle between the good self and the bad self is a tough battle when our brains are asking us just to keep the money, and our hearts are telling us to return the money as it does not belong to us. Well, for me, I have returned money that isn't mine many times as I believe in retribution. There was one time when I had bought food from a restaurant and paid with one $10 note. The cashier thinking that I had given her a $50 note then proceed on to return me back $41.90. I was really struggling at that time with my morales as that money is a really good money 'earned'. However, after much thoughts, I returned the money to her. Needless to say, I earned the gratitude of the cashier for that day and was rewarded with a smile whenever I went there. Sometimes, honesty pays in the long run. Hehe

Hi~it's real case now since I like to use credit card when shopping.As far as I remember,the only one case was I got 5$ more when I was buying the bus ticket.However,I didn't have chance to give them back to the lady as I found this after taking off the bus`lol~~Nice to see you in mylot~~

woo,that's a tough question for me,last year I bought a IC card which the price is $30 but the salesman give me a $50 card,I noticed that when I got home and then you know what I did? I get back to the store and give the money back as I used the $50 card,what makes me unhappy is the man don't even thank me or show his appreciation.
