Maarrying a relative Girl or boy... !!

Hi to all... I like to start this interesting Discussion ... Is there any medical related problems if we marry a girl or boy who is relative to us ... Somebody like our uncle's daughter or son.... !! I came to know recently that some health related problems will arise for the children born to parents who are married within relatinoships .. !! Even I saw in a recent TAMIL movie. They are showing one physically handicapped boy born to parents who are relatives already .. !! Request all for this knowledgeable discussion .. !

Yes there are many complications that can/will arise from breeding with a close relative, especially with a first cousin. I have known a lady who had children with a relative and all of her children are affected in some way. I can't imagine what would inspire a person to marry and have children with a close relative. In the US it's illegal to marry unless it's like 4th cousin or something. Even then...
