what do you do to combat bad stress?

The term stress is not always bad, there is 2 kinds of stress. One is good stress which keeps your adrenalin moving, and your body can still handle it. Second is bad stress, which makes you feel so tired, no energy, and most of the time it causes a lot of health issues like high blood pressure, dandruff, and etc. They said one way to combat stress is to do your work one step at a time. But how can you do it, if your boss puts folder on top of your table and told you " i need all of this later"? tell me mylotters, can you combat your stress? is there a good way?
