Many people think that no word exists that doesn't have any vowel.
Actually, in schools, we are thaught that all words must have vowels.
I recently found out some words that has not a single vowel in it :
Sky
Dry
Cry
Bye
Fry
Try
Do you know any more?

Yeah there are some more - sly, pry, why, by, sty, spy, fly, shy, hy-spy, hymn, nymph, myth hmm that's all I could think of now :)
Also, in your word "bye" - e is a vowel... but "by" has none, maybe that's what you meant.
