Everyone was so hell bent on getting Obama into office I sure hope they can enjoy it but I doubt very seriously if they will. He was elected strictly because he is considered to be black. Not for what he can and will do strictly for the color of his skin. That shows you how smart the American voter actually is. I think this is one time they will pay for their stupidity and pay dearly. The quickest way in the world to be disappointed is to expect anything of another person. Obama is not the man we need in office to handle this economy crash we are in. All he will do is make it worse than it has to be. I wish he could do everything he said he would and more but he won't for the simple reason there is no way possible. Way too many things working against him. We will see but this is one time I will say, I told you so. Art

It may be a horrible thing to say but it's the truth. They have already told on the news that of the 2 million people that came to Washington for today 84% of them are black. The votes of the black people is the only reason he was elected. His election could prove to be the worst thing that has happen for the black people. If He falls on his face you won't see another black President for many years. The smartest thing he could do is distance himself as far as possible from the black people. Then if he fails it wouldn't hurt all the other black people as badly. They sure don't need it. Art

I think that that is a horrible thing to say about him only getting the vote because he is considered to be black. I think this vote was hard on alot of people because no one knew who could truly handle the situation better. McCain did have alot of things going for him and I think he could have potentially won had he not ruined it by selecting Palin as his VP. She knew nothing and knows nothing and I think that that decision alone swung a lot of votes toward Obama. I like the fact that Obama is a visionary and I also like the fact of knowing that if god forbid something happen to him Biden can step up where as Palin would have sank our ship.

There are a lot of things that Obama does not have knowledge on, one huge thing being foreign trade. I understand that all people have to learn somehow, but at this point in time with us being in almost a depression, we need someone who has experience, and who will be able to pull us out. I don't think he can, his very few experience in life and knowledge in policies will harm us and him more than help I believe.

I think that obama can bring a real change in what he spoke. I am a really big fan of obama also and I do believe that he will change everything. It will take some time to get going, but he can do it. First it will be a slow process, but then it will get better he will be in for four years, so just have convidence in him.
