I'm reading a book-BLINDLESS, wrote by a Portuguese writer, who has won a Nobel Prize. People start to lose their sight gradually and finally only the wife of an eye doctor survive this disease. The whole town was like a deserted place. And this disease is strange, the scene people can see is milk white rather than dark, they can't see anything, but feel the colore of white. Have you considered that what if this thing really happy? It definitely is a distater~ What will you do if you're the only one who can see?

Well, I can admit that loosing my sight would not be a thing I would want to happen for me, but it does sometimes happen. I cannot imagine waking up and not be able to see my husbands smiling face, or my keyboard to type from on my Computer, or all the wonderful sites out there on the way to work. For me I guess we all value our sight and hope that is one thing we never end up loosing as well.

It is a disaster. In my opinion everyone was suffering from Glaucoma. It is a disease in which people tend to loose their eyesight and his/her vision becomes blur. At a point everything is so blur that they can only see the color white and nothing else. I am also suffering from this disease and I treating it by a doctor.

Hey, sanuanu, i'm sorry that you're suffering from this disease, i thought is was just a novel, hardly believe that it is in real life. I'm also having eye problem. I'm short sighted, and i can't see clearly without the glasses. I hate wearing glasses, but you know my eye will never be the same that when i was newly born. Take good care of eye

The Doctors told me that I got this problem because I avoid glasses when it was needed. I was also a short sighted person but I avoided use of glasses. Now, I am suffering.

this is one question I find hard to answer, probably I would end up helping othersss that could not see, if put in the situation only then it would be easier to say what I would do....littleowl

In the book, the only one who can see is the wife of a docotor. But there're so many people who are blind, it's really hard to help all of them. What's more, at the very beginning, only some of them lost sight, so these people were trapped in an asylum and there were soliders guard outside. This woman wanted to be together with her husband, so she prenteded that she was blind. And it really helped when she was in there and helped those blind to find their way. I like this woman~
