There are times that we do not open our account for a long time and didn't use the account for a long time. There are also instances that not all passwords in all our accounts are the same. There are times that we need to contact the customer service to reset our password because we forgot our password or click on the link that says, "Forgot password". There are also instances that even the security questions, we cannot answer that for the long time that we didn't use the account? Did you forget your password?

wow, really a good topic! I have lost my bank account password twice and even one of them still can not remember, so I throwed it for I don't know which ID I used and where I received. Another was about my salary account, once I found this, I regreted that I should have recorded all of my passwords of accounts, but luckly that I got it back after a few troubles. So now I have made a list about the passwords of all my accounts and got rid of the numbers and characters.

Yes,very often, coz I have so many different accounts online.Sometimes there are alternative mailbox to get my account back, but I think it almost useless to have safety questions on the account while I cannot remember my user name or so!

I've had a few times when I have forgotten a password. I usually try to keep all of that information written down somewhere in case I forget.

I forgot many password many times and i use the forgot password link and get it back. I think forgot password link is available for people like me only. Yahoo provides a alternate security Question, Gmail helps with a Alternate Mail address and others also use some other method.

Hi. Yes I totally agree with you. But there should be some solution to it. We can aviod this by writing our password somewhere so that in case we forget we can refer to it. Otherwise we can use our birth day or some other characters which we cannot forget in life or which is important to us. What you say?

Yah many times. Not only over the net but also my bank account's pin number. I don't know maybe this is because I'm getting older already. But the good thing is we can still retrieve it, thus we won't loose any account.
