a little background:i have been suffering from depression for a long time and recently received the diagnosis of bi-polar type 2 with severe depression, in my case i am always in a state of depression it's just the severity of the depression that fluxuates. Anyways, i have not been able to work the last 3 years because of the state i was in and i am just finally starting to get back to that point again. However, i am finding that i am having a lot of trouble with boredom. I don't have any friends so i am stuck with finding things to do by myself. I spend a lot of time inside on the computer or watching movies but i can't take it anymore and find i am losing interest fairly quickly. I am looking for some suggestions on some things i can do with my free time that will occupy my mind and also get me out an about. Thanks Richard

..maybe you could try walking in the parks and or beaches.. t helps a lot to relax if you breath in fresh air.. try to focus your mind on the bright side of things.. also, try to associate with other people since it is more boring to be alone.. in your case, you seem to be an introvert person.. that is the first thing you have to overcome.. befriend other people.. try calling any relative of yours to spend your time or other college or high school friends if you have.. most importantly, if you believe in God, you pray and join church activities and missions.. i assure you, your boredom will be removed and your depression will be healed.. God bless..
