India has the richest of cultural and historical heritage. Wherever you go, you can see colors of the different cultures and traditions. The variety in artforms,languages,dresses and religious ethos is something you can see nowhere else. It is a splendid amalgam of ancient culture and modern lifestyles. You have to be here to know the real soul of India. From the magnificence of the Himalayan mountains to the serenity of the lagoons of kerala, this place can satisfy any type of traveller.

I agree with you . India has everything to offer to a tourist. I being an Indian has not seen even 10% of the country. I have hardly been to the northern states and the Himalayas. But i sincerely hope that the government does something to make travel a happy experience for the tourists by providing some much needed basic facilities which even smaller countries provide in a much better manner. If i were to list them out it would be a long long one , but suffice to say that we need to think seriously about tourism like other western countries and many asian countries like Singapore, Thailand ,Malayasia have done ..
