is there any laptop with high end processing capability for games and multimedia

i want to know ,
is there any laptop with less cost and more performance...
now a days many laptops r coming out into the market.
some of them may having high price or low price with different performances.
so how can we get the clear view regarding what to take care while going to buy a laptop...

The only one I know of is the DELL monster laptop - I can't remeber the name of it.
However you'll never get a laptop to perform as well as a desktop, so if you're very much into gaming I wouldn't recommend getting a laptop.

Yes I agree with you. If you are more into gaming, then desktop is better than laptop. Laptops are for mobility and now there are competing with desktops. however Dell have gaming laptops like XPS 630 or XPS 700 which is a new one.

Hey,
Actually I saw a laptop that had 3.0GHz Quad Core, 8GB RAM, 1GB Nvidia Quadro graphics. Not bad for a laptop ai? But I forgot the name and the website where I saw it.
