Always Talking

It seems like people are always talking on their phones. You see it in cars, stores, restaurants, etc. I'm wondering....who is everyone always talking to? Do most people really have friends and relatives they talk to several times each day or are a lot of people simply listening to music on their phones? I guess I'm not too talkative......I don't use my cell phone that much.

I'm not much of a talker myself but I do use my phone for work purpose as well so sometimes I don't have a choice... Considering my part time gig is doing translation work, I do tend to stay on the phone for a while...

I only used my cell phone to talk once in a while and I text often. And for the most part I text with the same people.

My fiance and i barely have time to talk or see each other. Because of our work schedules and me being a mom. The best time to talk is while on the way to work or late at night. Usually though i prefer only to talk to someone while driving if i need something. Like today my sister is having a baby. I will probly be making calls left and right while driving. I am a good driver and dont get distracted by a cell phone. If i need to i just say hold on and put the phone down. Simple as that. I never change lanes while on a cell phone. I am just more aware of my surroundings.

I only use my cell phone in an emergency. I think that people talking on their cell phones while they are driving, are just asking to get in trouble, where I live it is against the law to drive and talk on a cell at the same time. I would imagine that they are talking to family or friends, I just know that it becomes really annoying if they are sitting next to me in a reasturant yapping into their cell throughout my meal.
