I wouldn't go for either one of them because I personally have bad experiences with both brands. My Nokia got broke and God knows why, I allways am very carefull with these things and by the damage it had it looked like it was dropped or smashed into something. The whole screen had turned black. On the other hand, it still worked. But the fact even a light touch can cause this made me step away from Nokia. I am 100% positive it didn't got dropped or smashed. My Sony Ericsson got broken even quicker because of some software crash. I was told that this is very common for Sony Ericsson. There is no way of preventing this, and if it does happen you are in a pickle because nothing will work anymore. I now have a samsung and I have good experiences with that. My dad has a Nokia and it works well for him, so if I had to choose I would go for Nokia. Especially because that experience was years ago and the one with the Sony Ericsson was rather recent; Nokia might have improved a lot since then. Take care and good luck with whatever you decide!
