it is worth it to give a second chance?

I've seen a lot of ruined relationships due to infidelity, unfaithfulness. A Woman is left crying, used and abused, while the man goes out and live with another woman. Then all of a sudden he comes back and realize that he was wrong in the first place. Is it worth it to give him a second chance, or once is enough because there is a possibility that he'll become unfaithful again?
