getting some rest while pregnant

HI all! Ever since I got pregnant, I never really rested. Well, I continued to work on my freelance job, catering to clients whenever they needed me. If I got tired of sleepy, I would rest awhile and after that, go back to work again. Last December, I spent several days in the hospital, including Christmas because of ureteral stone. Now, I have UTI. So I took it upon myself to go to my parents’ house and take a break. Here I eat, sleep, watch movies, listen to music etc. I do walk around in the garden, but not much. And most of all, I didn’t go out of the house. Thankfully, my parents’ house is in the suburbs and it is very peaceful and quiet. They have trees and a nice garden and the air is fresh. So I really enjoyed my time here. It is Tuesday now and I will go home on Thursday yet. For an entire week, I am here. I try not to do anything. My husband just comes over to visit me because of his work. Though he did sleep over here during the weekend. It is really nice to take a break like this. I know I have to go back to my real life of work etc, but I thank God for this opportunity of rest. A time of peace and quiet. Of spending time in a place like a farm. I don’t have internet here, so no blogs nor forums. But I have peace and quiet. Thank God! Do you also sometimes wish you can get away from it all? Take care all! :-)

When i was pregnant before, i'm a student.. While going to the school, my tummy is growing, it's not that easy for me coz in our country, we used to ride in a jeepney everyday..I only got rest when i'm home. In weekends, sometimes we go to the beach with my family, to spend time together and have relaxation. Also, going out, malling with my classmates..It's fine with me..

Hi there, glad to hear you are having a break from everything and getting some rest. I have no idea how tiring it must be to be pregnant, but I can imagine that whilst being pregnant feels beautiful, it must be physically demanding! Good luck
