Does your dreams determine your future?

I have asked myself this question time and time again. Our dreams have a way of opening us up to our present as well as our past. What we think about and what we worry about also has a lot to do with the pattrns of our dreams. We all want our lives to be better in the future if they weren't in the past so we look for ways to make sure that it happens even if in the end things turn out different. We all have hopes which allow them to be manifested through our dreams. If we don't think we can then our dreams will tell us we can. If we think we can our dreams will sometimes tell us we can't. So when we put our minds in to focusing on positive we can change those dreams around and direct them more towards what we want. Fear is also another big factor. We dream of our fears but why is that? Is it because we don't want to face them in our conscious state?
