German Music

What do you think of german music? I am sure everybody heard of Rammstein but german there are a whole lot more great artists that offer a great variety of music to the world. Feel free to discuss here what you think about german music.

I love Rammstein. I got complete albums of Rammstein eventhough i don't understand what they were saying. I just like the beat and how he says things. I heard that the vocalist is a Olympian medalist. I also love the German band , Helloween. i'm not sure if you're familair with them but their music is not in German but english. I'm not sure but i think Sonata Arctica is also German. Another one of my favorite bands.

I personally think that Rammstein is not bad but they are in too much into the money and when you want to go to a concert you can easily pay a 100 $. There are a whole lot off other bands that do great music, ever hear of Schandmaul? They offer great medievel tunes and have very lyrical texts.

The only German music I have heard is metal. Artists like Rammstein and Oomph. I like them, but they all sound so evil, with really deep voices. I haven't heard any of the 'normal' German music, so I can't really judge it.

I'am German and My Cousin send me a couple Ramstein CD's couple years ago. I think they great and I know what they saying which is some very strange stuff. I also have German Music from some Singers like Peter Maffey und Wolfgang Petry.
