To amputate or not to amputate?

I definitely agree with Oprah and the lot wanting to pick the bones here. I TIVOd the same networks covering Palin and Obama. Crazily, the media asked a Republican candidate for vice president infinitely "harder" questions than Obama was asked. It's almost like people wanted Palin to flounder (who would do that, I wonder?). Sara Palin was asked detailed questions about foreign policy, economics, social engineering, etc. Barack Obama was asked "So, do you feel like Will Smith?" It's ridiculous that networks want her on now for a "gag" piece. I say she should do it IF the media knuckles down and finally asks our President about issues and not what it's like to go from surfing and playing basketball to politics.
