Have you ever been to the Philippines? If not, then i would recommend you this marvelous place. It is a small area located on mountain top in Mt. Province in the Philippines. Sagada is small in land area but the view is breath-taking. You could see other mountain tops, the beautiful sun rise or sun set. The weather is cold which is not typical to the busy streets of Manila. What I love about this place, is that there are place you could visit. You could do the following activities: 1. Spelunking - either cave connection from Lumiang cave to Sumaging Cave. If you are a little scared you could try one cave and go back. 2. You could take pictures at the Echo Valley and on the other side you would see the Hanging Coffins. This made Sagada well-known 3. Burial Cave - contrary to spelunking and Hanging Coffins, you could see the coffins lying on the entrance of Lumiang Cave. 4. Hiking - You could either choose to hike going to the Bokong Falls (the small falls) and Bomod-Ok falls (big falls). You could swim if you dare dip into the ice-water cold water or just lavish the lush green around. So far, these are the only things i could share because so far, these are the challenges i have tried. ~foodlover~

My parents brought me there but I was too young to remember anything then. It's my dream to explore the whole Philippines and for if I my dream come true, Sagada will be one of my long stops. Thank you for posting this information. It helps fill my plan of places to visit when I finally make it there. Ooops... have I told you that my father is from Sagada? Yes he is and my mother was from Besao, an adjacent town. Yes, I'm a true blooded Igorot born and raised in Benguet.
