What's your opinion of soy cheese? I've been trying to find a good one and have yet to find one that tastes enough like dairy cheese to make the switch. Although I'm slightly allergic to cow's milk, I do eat dairy and survive. But I'm much better off if I go for the soy. I've tried jalepeno flavored, swiss flavored, American flavored, cheddar flavored, and even the almond cheeses, but none tastes all that good to me. What's your experience with soy cheese?

I have tried a lot of the different soy products but I have never really liked any of them, I have tried all the imitation meats but they always have a flavour that i just don't like, I wish they could make pretend meat taste like real meat..

I know what you mean. I think I've tried everything on the shelves, err.. in the refrigerator section. As far as lunch meats go, I have found that the peppered tofurkey type luncheon meat brand is fairly good, at least the pepper covers up the soy taste. I can't stand the TVP. The morning star meats are fairly good, but they do have egg white in most of them, and that's an allergen for me too. But I don't care about that either. My favorite soy patty for use as a hamberger has to be Gardenburger Flame Grilled Burgers. It tastes fine and cookes up like hamberger. Plus, it's vegan, if that's important to you.
