Lionel Messi is currently the best player for barca. The Argentine prodigy is the next player to take over the reigns from Maradonna.Maradonna himself testified to this.

He can be, and he has all that can make him reaching to the tops. Mind, tecnique, attitude, etc.
But remember that Maradona already said that about Javier Saviola (of barcelona too) and i like him very much, but he isnt getting to the top.
