im planning on getting into the piercing profession to do this while im in college...ive started a portfolio with my piercings that ive done...and i guess im kinda looking into an internship type thing...does anyone have any tips for me to break into this profession?

There are schools but they are kind of few and far between. I think they are growing in popularity but your best bet is probably to gather some references from the subjects in your portfolio and go looking for an apprenticeship. I know tattoo artists apprentice, I would assume piercers work the same way. And if you can't find anyone willing to train you, look for a shop looking for a receptionist/store manager/whatever and get your foot in the door that way.

yeah i was thinking about a school but its really expensive...so im not sure if i wanna go that route...but that definitely is a way to get into it...yeah ill definitely get the references i didnt think of that! so hopefully i can get an apprenticeship!!! thanks for the tips!!!
