Has anyone here made money from facebook?

I have never heard money can be earned from facebook. Even if this is true , it probably doesn't help you earn lot of money becasue Facebook is not for this purpose. Ofcourse there are some things on Facebook that could earn you money i.e by working for Facebook developing facebook applications, pages, etc but this would be a proper job or maybe an opportunity for freelancers. So , facebook cant be an earning website (like mylot, etc) for anyone who wishes to join them for earning .
