What we can do with Advanced Featured Mobile Phone of any Company?

Hi friends.My brother purchased a latest mobile phone of BLACKBERRY. Now i am using Nokia 3310 and know only dial a call, Receive a call, Send and receive a massage. I asked to him wht else we can do with this advanced mobile phones. Can take pictures,Record films,Listen a song,Connect internet. But all these things we can do with all those phones which are presented before 3 Years.
Could you able to tell me what else we can do with advance mobile phone?
