How do you make a website?

Ok ok I know my question makes me seem a little outdated. But I see so many of you with a website on here. It just encourage me to try to make one. The website might help me to payoff some bills. Because I need to make alittle more money, and by making a website it might help. So could someone out there please help me out. Thank you

First you need to define what you want to show all your visitors. You dont need to be master on WebDesign.
There are many software to develope Websites; for example: Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Etc. There are lots of website where you can to do your own site, byethost.com is a free server where you can to host a website.
So; just think what you need; text to display, pictures and all that stuff.
What I mean is "define" what you want to show. After that all it will comes more easy.
