The Military!!!

I want to start off by saying that I am new to all of this and I have one question at this time. So reading some other blogs out there I thought this would be a good place to get a couple of responses. My question is Why is it that some people hate the military? I cannot figure it out but I am hoping that some of the readers out there can shine a light on this for me.

I do not think most hate the military at least not here in the United States. They are only doing the job that our government has sent them to do. That is why the troops are always supported, but the government is not. Military is neccesary for any country to protect themselves from an outside invasion or for their best interest.
