one word to describe the word love?

It's like what the first person said.. Love requires sacrifice.. I think it does come with pain because there's this process of giving up.. of acceptance and trying to be selfless.

love doesnt really mean pain, yes you can get hurt and give up alot of things, but if we werent happy with it, we would stay on our own and not look to love again.

True love is something that finds you, no one reali knows what it is. I think love is some thing that can't be explaned. True love is pure.

Okies thanks for your reply. Now let me explain you what I think is love. Love is NOT a feeling. It is something which you can see when your parents sacrifice things for your happiness. Look at what you will do because you like you pet. Love is not what husband and wife do on their marriage night. Love is the sacrifice. It is knowing your other mates' weakness and not to point that out but to make changes within yourselves to complete those, cover those weakness. Most people think love is a feeling because its portrayed like that in movies and plays and what not. But true love is nothing but true sacrifice for someone who you want to see happy! Hope I tried my best to explain what I had in mind. :) In short, love is SACRIFICE.
