i told my husband of the really expensive encyclopedia that i saw at the store. then he said, he has old books that he asked his father to buy for him when he was still a kid. then he went to the storage room and took a couple out. and i was really happy to see them for then i will have materials to share with the baby and i don't have to buy new ones! yippeee! they are still in good condition...well, they just smell old and the pages are brown...but they are still okay. and the information there is not obsolete, because these are about animals, insects, plants, etc. i am soooo happy. my in-laws wanted to donate these books to the local school library, but my husband insisted on keeping them. very good decision on his part. how about you? do you still have your old books around? are they still in good condition? have your children benefited from them? take care all and God bless you! happy mylotting!

When i was young... i have always wanted and encyclopedia... but we cannot afford it... so i contented myself with the encyclopedias in the library... that i cannot take home... but read whenever i have free time in school... then when my sister graduated from highschool and decided to take up nursing... my parents bought her a 4 volume medical encyclopedia... which made us all very excited... it is still at my parents house... and right now... i don't dream of having a full set encyclopedia... since i can just buy a cd...
