Anyways do you own a pair of these high priced articles of clothing. Would you ever pay that much for a pair of jeans?

I have never heard of them myself. I have a 10 year old daughter and I dread the day she starts asking for expensive clothing. I see quite a few girls in her grade 5/6 class with name brand clothing, so I know the day is coming soon. Luckily for now she is happy with clothes I can pick up at Walmart or Value Village. We can't afford the expensive name brands for our kids or ourselves, so if my daughter develops a taste for expensive clothes when she is older she is going to have to get a job ( babysitting, delivering papers, ect.) and buy them herself. If she pays for them she will appreciate them and take care of them. Have yout tried looking on ebay for some, you may be able to get some there for a good price.

This is the first year that she has asked for expensive stuff. Thankfully there are no stores here that carry Hollister items. But she does get the other brands from her mother. More than she does from us. She wants more than that she will have to get a JOB herself....Which I have been trying to encourage but she doesn't seem interested. She will be when we stop buying the clothes that she wants...LOL My 8 year old still loves going to frenchies and Value village, as well as wal mart.

Yes, we have hollister in our malls here and yes, they are that expensive in the stores, No I dont own a pair myself, but my cousin who is 14, she owns a hollister jacket and also a few shirts and hoodies, that were on the clearance racks...but she still paid a good deal for them. I wouldnt and couldnt see spending money on clothes like that, even with me being older (37) and I wont grow out of them....LOL I find very cute clothes at Target once a year and on the clearance racks, or buy one get one free sales... and I will also go to our thrift stores as well.
