Hiye friends! Before two days, I had this very strange experience. After switching off my system at 12:00a.m , it was really boring for me, so I was trying to navigate through all the menus in my cell phone! I am already using security codes for my key pad just as a safety procedure! I heard about this PIN code that is used for the SIM safety! So I was eager to try that too. It asked me the current PIN code for me to set new PIN code! I really had no idea what it was. Just taking fun-risk I gave my own combination, what was the result???!!!!, after 3 attempts, I got this warning message in my cell,(only that text I was able to see in my cell screen, nothing else) !! I was clue less on how to solve it! Then I was idle for about 15 minutes, then GOOGLE concept striked my mind! Immediately I jumped to the system and was painting my fingers over the keyboard , just because not to disturb my mom, sleeping near me! I made 2 to 3 searches, atlast found the procedure and I got the vodafone customer care number, I dialed their numbers and told me my silly problem, they responded in few minutes. Atlast my problem was solved, and I happily started to stare at my mobile after this tiresome trial! So friends, be careful with your usage of those codes, If you got struck also it is not a problem, Customer care toll free numbers are there to help you out! You need to have these information in handy when you dial them * Last/recently dialed number * Recently recharged amount * your cell number ofcourse * Your sim card's last 6 digit number to get the puk code That is all! And friends, do you have any experience like this??!! Do share !! Take care Happy myloting

Thank you for the important information, Twinklee, As far as i know there is a default PIN for a SIM and it depends upon your service provider. Secondly you can change it if you want. If you enter wrong PUK code for ten (10) times consecutively, you SIM will be blocked and you will have to replace it.
