My cell phone is a thief

I have been using an AT&T go phone for several months now and I have come to the conclusion that it is a thief. I don't have any trouble with it when I have quite a few dollars on it but if my balance gets down below a dollar and I don't add more money before the next day it will steal what's left. The first few times it did this I wasn't sure that it was really happening. But last week when my balance went below a dollar I wrote down how much was left. The next morning I bought a refill card and when I installed it I saw that the phone had stolen my last eighty six cents. How many of you use Go phone? Have you noticed the phone stealing your money? Do you think the company will give me a refund?

It's not just 86 cents. This has happened so many times it is probably about ten dollars by now.

I don't think they honestly care. They have milliions of dollars. Your 10$ is pretty insignificant lol no offense lol

Oh and by the way, no offense taken. This makes for a good discussion.

It probably realizes that you can't make a call with that little amount so it just cancels it out. You might call the company and ask them but pay as you go phones don't have roll over minutes so you might just have to deal with it, sorry.

I actually found out where my money was going. Seems Go Phone charges a daily access fee. Every day I use the phone it charged me a dollar for the privilege. This was in addition to the cost for the minutes used. Sooo, since I use my phone every day I have been paying thirty dollars a month just for having and using a Go phone. That does not seem to be a deal to me. I'm going back to tracfone.

We have Sprint and it has about 1400 minutes a month so we almost never run out or go over.. If I were you, I would contact AT&T and let them know about it, I would also demand a credit for all of the money they had stolen from you.. They will surely be getting rich if they do this to all of their customers.. I wouldn't let them get by with that dirty trick..

I do plan on calling them. I haven't really been all that satisfied with go phone anyway. I was more content with my tracfone.
