I just recently began taking piano lessons at age 39. I am so excited, yet embarassed. Is there anyone out there who started doing something like this at my age? Are you enjoying it?

hi there, Its not unusual for people to take up a new interest later on in life and there's absolutely nothing to feel embarrassed about, I know many people who have taken up some kind of musical instrument when they have become adults. I am one of them myself, I started taking piano lessons in my 30's and am so glad I did. I play nearly every day and its one of my forms of relaxation. I also went back to school later on in my life, I was in my 40's when i decided to go to college to finish my education. At first i thought I was going to be the oldest one there, but not true, there were many people my age and even older who i seen roaming the halls and sitting next to me in class. No matter what age you are you never stop learning in life. Good luck with your piano lessons. ~proudnana~

I just completed my Associate Degree in Business and am seriously thinking about getting my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. I'm thrilled with what is happening in my life!
