Make It Last Forever...

What's the longest time you were in a relationship? What's the shortest time you've spent in a relationship? Was it worth the time you put into it? I hate when you date someone and invest so much time in the relationship and then it doesn't work out.

I have had a lot of relationships but my last relationship has lasted me 26 years so far. We dated for about 6 months, got married, waited three years until I was done at college and then had a baby boy. We have had lots of ups and downs but at the end of the day we still love each other, so it has worked out fine. So far... :)

The longest time I spent in a relationship was 3 years. I gave my heart to this guy and he crushed me so many times. I was engaged to him and he still did what he wanted and would not listen to me. He ended up in jail and leaving me when I needed him the most. The time I put into the relationship was not a waste. In fact, I wouldn't take it back if I could. I loved him and I still do. He was my first true love. I would, however, change a few things that we did so that maybe things would be different now. On the upside to this, I found myself a very nice, smart, and honest guy. A guy that makes me smile everyday. He makes me feel like Im a person and not just a piece of dirt that you can find just anywhere. He shows me he loves me in a way that my last relationship didn't. Like I said I will always love my exboyfriend, but I have to move on now and do what makes my heart happy. I deserve it and I've finally come to realize that, even if it did take me 3 years. I was happy then, but in the wrong way. My ex wasn't a bad guy he just had some issues that I couldn't handle. Im sure many girls have gone through this and understand where Im coming from. Im just happy I was blessed with the guy I have now in my life. Never regret anything because at one time that is what you really wanted.

Hi leavell well I think it's part of relationship that you want to work it out, and think that it will last longer or forever. But if it was not really meant for you, it wont work out. In love you can't ask for anything in return. You know what the efforts that you wasted not only the wasted time you spend it,its part of love. You can't even asked for return. Just charge it to experience! Have a nice day to you!

im currently in a relationship....so i dont really know....if this will be the longest...hopefully it will....but regardless of my current..my longest was 6 yrs....6 yrs of being stupid....and the shortest is 3 yrs....3 years of being a moron...its all a waste....at first you would think its all worth it...you fought for them...try to save everything...you'll do everything....but at the end....when you knew its over.....and move on....you will realize that you wasted everything for those people...specially when you met someone who's 100 times better than them... have a great day...

..my longest relationship is two years.. and it was hard to forget all the things that you've shared together.. However, life is like that.. we have to let go so that we can move on.. my shortest relationship is two weeks.. we were good friends actually but we became lovers, something has changed.. we just realize we can't really work it out together..

My longest relationship so far has been 7 years. We're separated at the moment, so who knows? It might end here, or it might go on even longer. The shortest? I would have to say it was one of those 1 month high school relationships. I don't regret the time I have put into any of my relationships. With each one, I have learned something different about life and myself. My ex-husband (we were married for 5 years) gave me 2 wonderful children, and he taught me how to stand up for myself. In short, every day we are here is a blessing. Be thankful for the times, both good and bad, that you have had.
