Do you love music? music is part of my life, music makes me alive, it cheers me up, strenghtens me when I'm down, gives a lot of boost and energy. I listen to different kinds of music, depends on my mood...be it pop, r'n'b, rock, alternative, electro, punk, jazz, oldies but goodies and christian songs... What type of music do you prefer to listen? why?

oooh, i loooove music. all modesty aside, i've been in orchestras and even a rock band since i was still a teenager. i love listening to and making music. my mother told me that when i was still a toddler, i would refuse to sleep unless the radio was on. i also listen to all types of music, but i am partial to rock and classical music. rock is a favorite of mine because it defies tradition and it wakes me up in the morning (especially when i've had only an hour to sleep and i'm on call all over again). some people think it is too wild; i disagree. rock can be disciplined, it can be many things. there's good rock music and there's bad rock music - it all depends on what you prefer, but i definitely have this genre at the top of my list. classical music is another favorite because it soothes me. a lot of things in life are tumultuous and classical music relaxes me. i love karl emmanuel bach, and also his relative, johann sebastian bach. i hear layer upon layer of music in their compositions. it's like wearing layers of clothes that still look unified. i have been playing classical music since i was little, so i already had my favorites picked out early on. the only music i can't stand is the type that seems to sell a lot in the philippines. like those songs by this popular lunchtime gameshow host. i'm sorry, but they sound cheesy and cheap to me. (do you know who i'm talking about? hehe.) i love music, and my boyfriend also does. he is a musician himself. we both love rock and classical music, which i think is a convenient coincidence. i am very thankful i was born with the capacity to hear. music has shaped my life a lot. :)

I listen to mostly all types. But depending on my mood, mostly I listen to Pop and Indie music. Sometimes I listen to alternative rock and classical, even oldies. But I don't really like listening to metal or hardcore songs. Ugh! I don't understand why people even call this music, it's just all about making big noise! Well, all in all, music, whatever type that is, it's all good to our ears that makes our soul healthy, and makes our mood enlightened.

Oh yeah, I definitely love music. I listen to music just about every day, and I'm listening to it right as I type this. Music makes me happy, and it can calm me down as well. I like listening to hard rock and metal music because I like the fast paced music.
