I have 2 children now but ever since I never tried using any birth control.I gave birth with c-section twice, so as this time I don't want to get pregnant or maybe not at all in the future. So I went to my doctor and asked if what's the good or right birth control for me, she told me oral contraceptive pill is fine so she prescribed me if which one to use and that is Mercilon. I am raising this question because I am confused if what I am doing is in the correct way or not. I had my first day of my monthly period on Wednesday so in the evening I took 1 table from the pack and I took the one that is under Monday in the Mercilon pack because the arrow starts there. Am I taking the correct tablet? Don't you think I need to start taking the tablet under Wednesday label instead of Monday because Wednesday is my first day of my period? If I am wrong so what will I do to correct it? Anybody knows?

Most packs come with a sticker to put at the top if you use the pills in a different order than labelled. I always did a Sunday start with mine to avoid confusion. Just keep following along in line and don't miss a day and you should be fine. Don't forget, you need to take them a whole month before you are protected!
