I feel crawling in my hair,but I do not have lice

I started a discussion on itchy eyes and my head started to itch.
have you ever felt like something was crawling in your head?
Let me tell you one time I felt like something was crawling in my head, I thought I had lice. I bought lice remover,no nits nothing and still I felt crawling.
I went to the doctor did not have lice, still felt crawling and my doc could not tell me what it was.
I have naturally curly hair and it is very soft when my hair is curly I feel crawling, whe I straighten it out I do not.
Could my curly hair be causing that sensation?

Is it possible you're having an allergic reaction to something? Did you change shampoos or soaps? You could try benydryl (I don't know if the doctor mentioned that or not). If that doesn't help another thing that causes that skin crawling sensation you mentioned is the vitiman Niacin. I took a suppliment of it once and my skin got all red and I itched like crazy. Do you take vitimans? I'm fairly sure Niacin is in energy drinks too. You may want to check if you drink them.
I hope I was able to give you some fresh ideas about what is causing your itchy skin crawling feeling. Good luck getting rid of it! I know it has to be driving you insane.

Thanks I will check. My skin is not crawling just my hair.
I do take claritin and it does not take it away.
But I do have asthma and alot of allergies.
It only happens when I wear my hair curly.
