What is your typical work week like on your job?

My present job functions/duties involve the following on a consistent daily, weekly, monthly basis: Act as a liaison between 30+ volunteer department directors and the Member Care Services Director’s office concerning approved their department events and activities Act as a liaison between 30+ volunteer department directors and the other support departments they need in order to carry out their approved activities (i.e. facilities for setups, media for recordings, sound, video, etc…, security for safety, network services for voicemail/email services, copier challenges, etc…) Keep track of inventory for various departments for ordering monthly to quarterly supplies in order to run their departments successfully Act as a liaison between 30+ volunteer department directors and various staff departments concerning printing various in-house printing jobs Act as a liaison between 30+ volunteer department directors concerning the approval of their bulletin ad announcements, based upon approved budgets, etc... Compile a systematic excel spreadsheet calendar for the security department, facilities, media and other staff departments to use a guide to know what is going on campus as all times. Kept up-to-date daily known as the “calendar forecasts” Keep an up-to-date volunteer database on a weekly basis Make phone calls to confirm the volunteers attendance to volunteer orientations conducted weekly on Thursdays Act as a liaison between the staffed departments and 30+ volunteer department directors concerning their need for volunteers that come through orientation Keep up-to-date records of volunteer information in a filing system done alphabetically Oversee the lost n found items for the entire campus Schedule between 11-20 counseling appointments for members on a weekly basis What does your typical work week look like? Well I am a student so I guess I spend 10-15 hours in class then maybe another 5-42 hours in my volountry service I attend depending if we have weekend training and then maybe6-36 hours travelling depending if we have fildtrips at university.Pretty tiring even still eve if I dont get paid for any of it.

Wow, I'm not sure I could spend all of that time in training and especially in school. Thanks for sharing.
